Zionsville Awarded INDOT Community Crossings Grant

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has awarded the Town of Zionsville a Community Crossings Matching Grant valued at $695,291.75. These funds will be used to reconstruct and improve local road infrastructure. Zionsville will use the grant to fund four projects. All projects are repair and resurfacing projects, with the exception of Irongate Drive, which is a complete reconstruction project. • Irongate Drive: a full reconstruction that is a continuation of the systematic reconstruction of the old concrete streets in this subdivision and placement of new, asphalt roads. • Mulberry Street: a repair and resurfacing project that generally includes subbase repairs in failing areas, a 1.5” mill and resurface. • Ash Street from Mulberry Street to Maple Street: a repair and resurfacing project that generally includes subbase repairs in failing areas, a 1.5” mill and resurface. • Mayfield Lane: a repair and resurfacing project that generally includes subbase repairs in failing areas, a 1.5” mill and resurface.
