At 2:02 pm Tuesday Boone County 911 received calls reporting a person possibly struck by a vehicle at a commercial business at 6251 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown. Multiple public safety agencies responded to the location. Upon their arrival they found an adult male with traumatic injuries. First responders from the Whitestown Fire Department evaluated the patient but was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim was identified as Johnny Lee Williams, 59 of Indianapolis.
