Vickie Lynn Smith, 70, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. She was born March 29, 1954, in North Hollywood, CA, a daughter of the late Alvin and Dorothy Florence (Watson) Hamburger. Vickie had worked for many years as a senior nutrition program manager for the Salvation Army. She was a jack of all trades, working as an avocado and citrus farmer, along with at a flower nursery. Vickie enjoyed working in her flower garden, along with collecting antiques. Survivors include her son, Dakota Douglas Smith of Glendale, AZ; brother, Allen (Nadia) Hamburger of Cottonwood, AZ; brother-in-law, Tom Boggess of Lebanon; cats, Felix, Zippy, and Niko; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her son, Justin Jeremiah Smith and sister, Von Boggess. Final care of Vickie has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
