During the Tuesday meeting of the Frankfort Board of Works a new police officer was sworn in. Xavier Vela a graduate of Frankfort High School and a United States Marine, will now be patrolling the city street of the Gem City. Most recently, Vela worked for the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer.
