Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest

On April 4, 2024, Frankfort Police Department Narcotics Detectives ended a two-month investigation with the arrest of 33-year-old Whitney Grice of Frankfort.

Frankfort Police Department Officers and K9 unit conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 Block W State Rd 28 and found Grice with counterfeit pills. These pills appeared to be Percocet (oxycodone) but have been found to be fentanyl pills.

"I am grateful for our dedicated narcotics unit who conduct the operations that put drug dealers behind bars," stated Chief Scott Shoemaker. "At some point, people who deal potentially lethal doses of drugs need to get the hint...You will be caught."

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Pursuant to Indiana Public Access Laws, I.C. 5-14-3-5, certain factual information relating to the identity of a person arrested or jailed and the agency’s response to a complaint, accident or incident must be made available to the public.

The Clinton County Prosecutors Office will review the case for official charges.
