Traffic Change At U.S. 52 And 47

Effective immediately there is no cross traffic at U.S. 52/State Road 47. All traffic on SR 47 each way will be forced to turn right onto U.S. 52. Furthermore, US52 is down to 1 lane both directions. Speed limit has also been reduced in this area to 45mph on US52.

Please use caution when traveling through this area! Signage can easily block views of approaching vehicles.

While the 500W intersection is still open, due to one lane heavy traffic, we encourage all travelers to use other routes in and out of Thorntown area such as CR 650 N or Sugar Creek Rd as alternate routes.
