The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the report of a "hit list" that was found on a student's computer at Western Boone. School officials became aware of the situation on Wednesday. Capt. Jeremy McClaine with the Boone County Sheriff's Department said a third party found a hit list on the student’s computer and reported it to the school. McClaine did not expect the student to return to school Thursday. Superintendent Rob Ramey said the student who made the list was not at school Wednesday, and no student was in immediate danger.
