On Monday, June 26, 2023, at approximately 12:45 pm, Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block east on State Road 32 for a single-vehicle accident with entrapment.
Upon arrival, deputies located a 2004 red Ford Ranger driven by Charles Watterson, 68 years old, of Zionsville, IN, that had struck a telephone pole and was facing east in the westbound lanes. Mr. Watterson was extricated from the vehicle and taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
