It has been brought to the attention of the Boone County Sheriffs Department that a Scam Call is going out, the subject is stating they are Lt. Craig Fouts with the Boone County Sheriff's Office and he his calling in regards to legal documents he has that require immediate attention. PLEASE DO NOT provide any identifying or confidential information over the phone. If you believe you are being scammed please contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. 765-482-1412
