Pursuit Suspect Arrested Without Further Incident

On April 1, 2025, a pursuit was initiated by the Frankfort Police Department based on information that a wanted person, Devin Cox, was operating a motorcycle. FPD officers followed the vehicle, but a crash occurred at First and Walnut between a Frankfort Police Officer and another vehicle. The pursuit was terminated. No injuries were reported but both vehicles were towed. The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.

Wednesday, officers and detectives located Cox in Frankfort. He was taken into custody without further incident. He was taken to IU Frankfort Hospital for jail clearance. In addition to the arrest warrants of Violation of Probation, Burglary, Theft and Resisting Law Enforcement, he was arrested on: Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.

As with every pursuit, FPD will also conduct an internal review of our pursuit policy to ensure all policies and procedures were followed.
