The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a new, permanent traffic signal coming to the intersection of State Road 39 and County Road 375 N in Lebanon. The addition of the light is part of a LEAP project that will tie C.R. 375 N into S.R. 39. Beginning on or after Monday, March 25, crews will be closing one lane at a time on S.R. 39, to allow for installation of the permanent signal to begin. While the permanent signal is being installed, a temporary signal will maintain one lane of open traffic on S.R. 39. Work is expected to last a couple of months but is weather permitting and subject to change. INDOT encourages all drivers to be patient while driving through the area, and to avoid speeding and distracted driving through this and all work zones.
