Lebanon Police Department officers were dispatched to I-65 near mile marker 139.5 for a possible pedestrian struck. They found a person dead in the road. It happened sometime in the 5 o'clock hour between State Road 32 (Exit 140) and State Road 39 (Exit 139). All southbound lanes were closed as a result of the incident. Police said a box truck struck a person on the interstate. The driver stayed at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, police said.
