U.S. Women Take Home Three Swimming Medals (Paris) -- The U.S. women once again lapped the competition in the Paris Olympics pool on Thursday. Katie Ledecky became the most decorated female swimmer in Olympic history after capturing her 13th medal in the four-by-200-meter freestyle relay. The States secured silver in the event. Elsewhere, Kate Douglass took home her first-career gold medal in the 200-meter breaststroke, while Regan Smith also swiped silver in the 200-meter butterfly. Several more swimming medals are up for grabs today. >>U.S. Men's Soccer Team Faces Morocco Today In Quarterfinals (Paris) -- The United States men's soccer team hopes to advance to the semifinal round today. Team USA faces Morocco in the quarterfinals of the Paris Olympics. The U.S. advanced to the knockout round after finishing second in Group A. The winner of the U.S. versus Morocco match will take on the winner of Japan versus Spain in the semifinal round on Monday. >>U.S. Women's Basketball Defeats Belgium (Paris) -- The U.S. women's basketball is now 2-and-0 at the Paris Olympics. They defeated Belgium 87-74 to extend their Olympic winning streak to 57 games. Breanna Stewart led the way with 26 points while Brittney Griner added seven. With the win, Team USA punched their ticket to the quarterfinals. Team USA will wrap up group play against Germany on Sunday. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant and the men's team faces Puerto Rico tomorrow in its final group game. >>Team USA Wins Gold In Men's Four Rowing (Paris, France) -- The United States added another medal after shocking the world in rowing. The men's four team of Nick Mead, Justin Best, Michael Grady and Liam Corrigan earned the first gold medal in men's four rowing since 1960. On the women's side, the American team of Emily Kallfelz, Kelsey Reelick, Daisy Mazzio-Manson and Kate Knifton finished fifth. More rowing medals are up for grabs today. >>Team USA Tennis Recap (Paris, France) -- Tommy Paul was eliminated from the men's singles tennis tournament after losing to Spain's Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinals of the men's doubles tournament, Taylor Fritz and Paul came away with a straight sets victory over Great Britain. Fritz and Paul will face Australia in the semifinals today. Fellow Americans Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram took down Czechia in straight sets to advance to the finals, which is set for Saturday.
