He is the first rower to ever be given the honor of being a flag bearer. The closing ceremony will be held Sunday. >>Noah Lyles Completes 100-200M Double (Paris) -- Team USA is adding more track medals to its tally after the men's 200 meter race. In his signature event, Noah Lyles took the bronze after winning the 100 meter race on Sunday. He was aiming to be just the tenth runner ever to win both events at the same Olympics. Meanwhile, Lyles' Team USA teammate Kenny Bednarek won the silver. After the race, Lyles announced he tested positive for Covid earlier this week. >>USA Tops Brazil In Women's Volleyball, To Face Italy For Gold Medal (Paris, France) -- The U.S. women's volleyball team is one win away from another gold medal. Team USA booked its trip to the gold medal game after topping Brazil in five sets. Kathryn Plummer led the team with 26 points to go along with seven blocks. Avery Skinner chipped in with 19 points and Andrea Drews scored 18 points. Both players also recorded a dozen blocks. The United States will face Italy in the final on Sunday.
