Multiple Agency Coordination Results In Arrest

On October 11, 2024 Frankfort Police responded to the 2000 block of E Wabash St for the report of an injured female as the result of domestic violence. After the initial investigation, probable cause was established for the arrest of the male suspect, identified as 39-year-old Adam Rush. The female was transported to IU Hospital for treatment.

Officers attempted to make contact with the suspect and discovered that he had fled prior to officer arrival. The information for the suspect was passed to the oncoming dayshift officers who resumed searching for the suspect. It was discovered that the male had ties to Boone County/Lebanon, IN. Those agencies were notified and were able to successfully locate and apprehend the suspect at a residence in Lebanon.

This case has been submitted to the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office with the following charges requested:

Domestic Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury- Level 5 Felony

Domestic Battery with a Prior Conviction- Level 6 Felony

Strangulation with a Prior Conviction- Level 5 Felony

Criminal Confinement Resulting in Bodily Injury- Level 5 Felony

Interfering With the Reporting of a Crime- A Misdemeanor
