Mobile Home Fire Displaces Residents

At approximately 5:45 Thursday night, fire crews were dispatched to 441 W Elm St Lot 25 on a reported mobile home fire. Lebanon Police officers arrived on scene and forced entry into the structure to ensure no residents remained inside. Battalion 201 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire at the rear of residence. Lebanon Fire crews arrived on scene and quickly searched the building for occupants and extinguished the fire. While inside a dog was discovered and removed from the structure without incident. Crews overhauled the structure to confirm no extension to both the involved structure and a neighboring trailer that sustained damage as a result of the initial fire. Battalion 201 assigned a fire investigator to the incident and an origin and cause investigation was initiated. The fire remains under investigation at this time.

The Salvation Army was requested and responded to the scene for victim assistance.
