Meta is proposing the construction of an 800-million dollar data center in Lebanon. If the plan moves forward, the technology company behind Facebook and Instagram would add the center to the LEAP Research and Innovation District in Boone County. A tax abatement for the proposed data center garnered unanimous support at a Lebanon City Council meeting Monday night. This potential project comes after another 800-million dollar data center was announced in Jeffersonville back in January.
