Lisa Stump Richards passed away on December 27, 2023 of respiratory infections after courageously living with metastatic breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucyellen Stump and Don Stump. She is survived by her husband of nearly thirty years, James H. Richards; her brother, Phil Stump and his wife, Jane of Orlando, Florida; and nieces, Elizabeth (DeMaio), Lauren (Duce), Rebecca (Russell) and Sarah (Rowan). In the example of her parents, Lisa lived an active community and social life. Causes dear to her were breast cancer research, a right for one to choose their life’s partner, sexual orientation, and freedom to practice their religion. Visitation is planned from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Memorial Services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Boone County Crematory was entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
