The Western Boone Lady Stars volleyball team will play for the 2A state title Saturday. Fith-ranked Western Boone is playing in its second state championship match in four years and playing for school’s first state crown in a sport other than football. Their opponent Brownstown Central is making their 14th state finals appearance, and playing for its second state championship (2019 3A). The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 from Worthen Arena, Ball State University.
