Lebanon resident and local attorney, Alex Kruse, was sworn in to serve as the Lebanon City Court Judge at the Lebanon City Council meeting held Monday evening, January 8, 2024. Mr. Kruse was elected in the general election last fall and will serve a four-year term. Mr. Kruse maintains a general practice of law at Kruse Law LLC, with an office on the courthouse square. He will continue to maintain his general practice while serving the part-time position as Lebanon City Court Judge. Mr. Kruse expressed his appreciation to the voters, as well as the City Council, stating “I look forward to serving as Judge for the City. I have devoted my entire practice to serving the people of Boone County and look forward to this additional opportunity.” Mr. Kruse is a lifetime resident of Lebanon, Indiana, having graduated from Lebanon High School and Purdue University before obtaining his law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. He was joined for the swearing-in ceremony by his wife, Michelle, and their two girls, Addison and Lillian.
