KDP invites the public to enjoy their 9th Snowflake Princess Coronation Ceremony at the Courthouse Rotunda, December 2nd @ 4 p.m. Kappa Delta Phi, Lebanon Civic Group teaches youth about philanthropy. There are 4 elementary students who applied to be part of this event by raising funds for their favorite local charity. The contestants are Kylie Ahlen, Harvey Elementary 2nd grade student raising donations for Boone County Humane Society. Sophie Dininger, Central Elementary 2nd grade student raising funds for Boone County Salvation Army. Amanda Huckleberry, Harney Elementary 2nd grade student fundraising for Sylvia’s Child’s Advocacy. June Taylor, Harney Elementary 2nd grade student fundraising for Refuge Teen Challenge. The student who raises the most money for their charity is crowned Snowflake Princess an rides with the other candidates on the float in the Lebanon Christmas parade
