Joette Marie Cross

Joette Marie Cross, 66, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Signature Healthcare of Parkwood in Lebanon. She was born on September 2, 1953 in Boone County; a daughter to the late Joseph Eugene and Doris Marie (Zimmerman) Cross. Joette was a life resident of Boone County and attended Dover schools. She was employed by Crossroad Rehab Center and Noble Industries. She enjoyed her family and friends. In addition she enjoyed volunteering at Witham Memorial Hospital, playing cards, BINGO, attending sporting events and she loved Johnny Bench, Pete Rose and Elvis! Survivors include: Two Brothers: John (Kathy) Cross of Elizaville, Indiana Steven (Jeryl) Cross of Lebanon, Indiana One Sister: Sherrie (Jansen) Ausherman of Lebanon, Indiana Nieces and Nephews: Sheryl (Rodney) Dunahee of Lebanon Brian (Rebecca) Cross of Thorntown Joseph (Kristine) Cross of Lebanon Gregory (Megan) Cross of Frankfort Joshua (Amanda) Hildebrand of Lafayette Jacob (Kylie) Ausherman of Lebanon Great Nieces and Nephews: Ashley Johnson of Zionsville Levi Dunahee of Lebanon Colton Cross of Elizaville Kayleigh Vernon of Thorntown Gabe Cross of Lebanon Sara Cross of Lebanon Jane Cross of Lebanon Several Great-Great Nieces and Nephews The family would like to thank the staff at Signature Healthcare of Parkwood and cousins, Bill and Dixie Zimmerman, for all the wonderful care given to Joette. Funeral Services are planned for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will be at Old Union Cemetery in Boone County. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Boone County Cancer Society or the Humane Society for Boone County.
