On May 24, 2024, at approximately 9:50 AM, the Lebanon Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Noble Street and Indianapolis Avenue in Lebanon, Indiana, in response to a vehicle collision. Upon arrival, law enforcement observed that two vehicles were involved, one of which was a Boone County Sheriff’s Office Jail transport van. Seven total occupants were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The injured parties include one Boone County Sheriff’s Office jail transport driver along with three Boone County Jail inmates. The remaining three individuals were occupants in the other involved vehicle. All are currently receiving medical treatment and are in stable condition. The Fatal Alcohol Crash Team was requested and has responded to the scene to begin an investigation. At this time, the identities of those involved will not be released pending further investigation.
