Georgia Thomas, age 76, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Saturday, April 5. Born on January 16, 1949, she lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and dedication. She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Oda Rowland.
Georgia was married for 55 years to her husband, Elzy Thomas. Together, they built a life filled with meaningful moments. She was the proud mother of Cindy (Bradley) Pollard and Jennifer (Eric) Dickey. She was a remarkable mother, whose boundless love, gentle wisdom, and selfless devotion were the heart of her family and the foundation of their lives.
Her grandchildren, Layne (Nic) White and Logan (Chantell) Dickey, were a source of immense joy to her, as were her three great-grandsons—Ryder, Rhett, and Ridge White. Georgia cherished the time spent with them and often spoke of them with great pride.
Outside of family, Georgia enjoyed flea marketing, where she found joy in discovering unique items. She dedicated 25 years to Prairie Industries, where she found great joy in her work and cherished the many friendships she made along the way. Yet, it was her family that was always at the center of her world. Her warm and nurturing nature left a lasting impact on those around her.
Georgia's memory will be carried on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as all who had the honor of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
Private services will be conducted under the care of Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary.
