On November 15, 2024 at approximately 3:53 PM, Frankfort Police were dispatched to the 7700 block of W State Rd 28 for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, a FPD officer held the suspect at gunpoint until additional officers arrived from FPD, Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police.
The suspect was taken into custody and has been arrested by officers. The victim sustained a minor defensive wound on their hand. All medical treatment was done on scene.
Both the suspect and victim were known to each other. The altercation stemmed from a civil matter pertaining to allegations of owed money between an owner and driver of a semi tractor trailer.
Arrested: 36-year-old Gurmeet Singh of California on the requested charge of Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
