Frankfort Police Arrest Domestic Violence Suspect

On Saturday, September 21, at approximately 3:47 PM, Frankfort Police responded to the 600 Block of north Jackson Street for a physical domestic

violence call. As officers arrived, the suspect fled into the creek/tree line and then east. A perimeter was set up and our K9 and drone units were utilized. The suspect was not located.

At 4:58 PM, the suspect was located near Williams and Washington Ave. A short foot pursuit resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old, Cesar Zamora-Mendez, of Frankfort. He was taken to the jail on requested charges of: Domestic Battery in the presence of a minor; a level 6 Felony and resisting law enforcement.

The Clinton County Prosecutor will review the case and file appropriate charges.
