Frankfort Plans For Leaf Pick-Up

The Frankfort Street Department will begin its annual leaf collection program on Monday, October 28th. To ensure efficient collection, residents are asked to place leaf piles as close to the curb as possible without obstructing traffic, avoid including sticks, grass clippings, or other yard waste in leaf piles, refrain from parking vehicles near leaf piles, keep leaf piles away from utility poles, and help prevent sewer backups by keeping leaves clear of street drains. The leaf collection schedule will be divided by city quadrant. Updates on the current collection area will be available on the City of Frankfort and Street Department Facebook pages.
