The Frankfort Board of Works has approved the hiring of Xavier Matthew Vela to be the next Frankfort Police Officer.
Vela is a 2016 graduate of Frankfort High School. He was honorably discharged from the United States Marines in 2023. He currently is a corrections officer at the Tippecanoe County Jail.
