Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. Portions of central, east central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana, including the following counties, in central Indiana, Bartholomew, Boone, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush and Shelby.
From Wednesday evening through Sunday morning. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.
Very heavy rainfall is possible from late Wednesday through Saturday night due to multiple wave passages. Flash flooding will be possible Wednesday night into Thursday with significant river flooding potentially developing late this week into the weekend. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
