At 1:40 PM Monday Lebanon Fire was dispatched to a reported vehicle into a pond on Countryside Drive. Crews arrived on scene to find the vehicle in a retention pond with the driver still in the vehicle. Lebanon Police and Fire personnel quickly entered the water and made access to the passenger compartment of the vehicle through the rear liftgate. Crews contacted the driver, who was stuck at that time but conscious and alert. The driver was disentangled and extricated through the rear of the vehicle prior to the passenger compartment filling with water. Crews confirmed there were no additional passengers in the vehicle at this time. The driver was taken to the shore where Boone County EMS crews assumed patient care and transported for further evaluation. Zores Towing responded to the scene and removed the vehicle
