David Roy Clark

David Roy Clark, 72, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born April 20, 1952, in Lebanon, Indiana; a son of the late Daniel L. Clark and Rose (Powell) Metzger.

On March 9, 1970, he married Shirley “Jane” (Burgin) Clark in Lebanon; she survives.

David attended Lebanon High School. He served in the Indiana National Guard for 19 years. David owned and operated Clark & Son Construction of Lebanon for several years.

He attended Lighthouse Baptist Church and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lebanon 2062 and American Legion Lebanon Post 113.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Clark; children, Jon D. Clark and Amy M. (Mike) Barton; grandchildren, Kylie Ausherman, Steven Clark, Dylan Barton, Connor Barton, and Jade Barton; six great grandchildren; brother, Daniel Clark; and sisters, Toni Donovan and Jeannie Johnson.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Matthew L. Clark; brother, Stephen Clark; and stepfather, Donald Metzger.

No services are planned.

Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
