After receiving a sobering look at the future of roads, the Boone County Council ratified a bond issue to raise $5.35 million to fix five of the worst bridges and culverts here. The structures targeted were all recently pegged with weight restrictions, most at 8 tons. The Boone County Commissioners closed one culvert on County Road 900 West, between C.R. 100 S. and C.R. 200 S. because of structural integrity. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
