Comedian Shawn Reynolds will be performing in Lebanon on April 20, but the cause goes far beyond comedy. The nationally touring funnyman is teaming up with Lebanon Christian Church to help raise money for three Lebanon area non-profits. All proceeds from this clean comedy, family-friendly event will be split evenly between: Boone County Mentoring Partnership, Packing Hope, and Sylvia’s Child Advocacy Center. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on the Lebanon Christian Church website.
The evening of family-friendly comedy will take place inside the church’s sanctuary, located at 610 West 250 North in Lebanon. Seating is limited and will likely sell out, so those interested are encouraged to act quickly. If the first Comedy for a Cause event is a successful fundraiser, the church hopes to hold future events, with proceeds going to other area charities.
