Clinton County Deputy Makes Stop On Speeding Vehicle

On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, just after 12:00 PM, Deputy Nevin Creasy was patrolling on County Rd 150 S, near County Rd 180 E, when he observed a vehicle traveling away from him in the opposite direction, at a high rate of speed. Deputy Creasy turned around to catch up to the vehicle, but before he caught up, the vehicle went South and continued down some gravel roads. Deputy Creasy came upon the vehicle after it had crashed into a cornfield in the area of County Rd 250 S, east of County Rd 280 E.

Deputy Creasy found one female passenger inside the vehicle upon arrival and a male who emerged from the standing cornfield. Deputy Creasy, Deputy Nick Light, Deputy Curtis Herring, and Sgt Joey Mitchell conducted an investigation. The driver was identified as Ian Adams, 39, of Marion (formerly of Frankfort). The passenger was identified as Raimi Adams, 29, of Marion. Both individuals received medical clearance and were arrested at the scene for the following:
