Get ready for a laugh-out-loud comedy with a heartwarming twist! The Clinton County Civic Theatre is thrilled to announce their upcoming production of "A Bench in the Sun," written by Ron Clark.
Imagine this: Two longtime buddies, Harold and Burt, spend their days trading barbs on a park bench. Their routine gets shaken up with the arrival of a new resident – a once-famous actress! Will their grumpy dynamic survive? As the unlikely trio bonds over witty banter, they face a shocking reality: their beloved retirement home is on the chopping block! Harold, Burt, and their glamorous new friend join forces in a hilarious and heartwarming fight to save their home.
Directed by Frankfort's own Carol Price, with Tashia Lindvall-Day as Assistant Director, "A Bench in the Sun" promises a stellar performance.
CCCT veterans and Frankfort High School sweethearts Eric and Pamela Adams bring their decades of stage experience to the production, including starring together in the very first CCCT show!
Local favorite Pat Day, owner of Day & Genda Funeral Home, returns to the stage after his most recent appearance in “Double Wide Texas.”
Jan McGill, a CCCT charter member and a local theatre legend, adds her considerable talent to the cast as the Voice Behind the Scenes.
Tickets are now on sale for just $12 each at the Civic Theatre website, ccctonline.org. Performances run from February 27th to March 1st at 7:30 PM, with a special Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM on March 2nd.
