Christopher Mark Robison

Christopher Mark Robison, 59, of the greater Indianapolis area, passed away of natural causes in Moses Lake, WA, on February 6, 2025.

Chris, a 1983 graduate of Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, attended Indiana State University for a year before enlisting in the U.S. Marines, from which he was medically discharged. He soon found his true calling as an electrician. He worked for a few large residential companies in the Indianapolis area before pursuing union work. In 1997, he was proudly initiated as a journeyman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 481.

Chris fully embraced the IBEW Brotherhood and was an active member of several clubs, including the Federation of Lineman Electricians (FLE), the 110BC Club, the BEE, and the Pickle Party. As a dedicated traveler for more than two decades, Chris worked on projects across the country. He spent several years contributing to Boston’s "Big Dig" but felt especially drawn to the West and Northwest. No matter where he parked his camper, he rarely missed the annual IBEW reunion and often attended fundraising events, where he was well known and truly embodied the Brotherhood spirit of helping others in need. Chris was also a proud member of the Elks, Moose, and Eagles lodges.

He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, generous spirit, and genuine kindness. Chris had a heart that was always open, and his willingness to lend a hand was a gift to all who knew him. He loved breaking bread and sharing meals with family and friends, especially his union bros, whom he truly considered family. He found peace in nature, enjoying hikes and the beauty of the outdoors, where he could reflect and find solace.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Michael P. Robison; mother, Bernette “Ann” Robison; brother, Kevin Robison; and, just four months prior, his sister Karen Robison. He is survived by his sisters Patricia Thomas (Chris) and Cheri Stieber (Mike); nieces and nephew: Desiree Hummeldorf, Stasha Prewitt, Seamus Thomas, Micaela Stieber, and Arianna Stieber; and great nephew Bridger Hummeldorf.

A joint service for Chris and his sister Karen Robison will be held at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church, 319 East South Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a rosary and then Mass at 12:00 noon. A memorial luncheon will immediately follow at the Lebanon Elks Lodge #635, 215 Lafayette Ave, in Lebanon. Interment will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary/Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 435 W. Troy Ave., in Indianapolis. Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana has been entrusted with their arrangements.
