Cathy Lynn Gerdes

Cathy Lynn Gerdes, 63, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Warsaw, Indiana on February 22, 1962; a daughter of the late Merl and Helen (Gross) Harris.

On November 20, 1983, she married Michael D. Gerdes in Fort Wayne, Indiana; he survives.

Cathy graduated from Warsaw High School in 1980 and graduated from Ivy Tech nursing school. She worked as an RN at Riley Children’s Hospital for 25 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and her dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Gerdes of Lebanon; son, James David Michael Gerdes of Lebanon; sister, Susan Depoy of Rochester, Indiana; and her beloved dogs, Lala and Maggie.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, Tim Harris and sister, Lisa Lacher.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation will follow services.
