Do you have plans for canning your home-grown food this summer? Then register now for the April First Tuesday’s educational program on canning those home-grown goodies on April 2 starting at 6:30pm. Learn the art of home food preservation through our canning class, where you'll master techniques to safely preserve seasonal produce for year-round enjoyment. Explore the fundamentals of canning, empowering you to confidently stock your pantry with homemade jams, pickles, and green beans. This program is taught by Purdue Extension Educator and Master Preserver Monica Nagele. First Tuesday is free but you must register by calling the Purdue Extension Office at 765-482-0750 or email booneces@purdue.edu. The event will be held in the Boone County Farm Bureau Inc. Community Building on the 4-H Fairgrounds in Lebanon Indiana.
