Bonnie Lou Miller Plough

Bonnie Lou Miller Plough passed away July 11, at her home in Lebanon. She was born February 19, 1939, in Three Oaks, MI, to the late Arthur and Nellie Miller. After a whirlwind three-week courtship, on July 21, 1956, she became the bride of Dave Plough in Goshen, IN, a union that lasted nearly 68 years. The couple settled in Zionsville in the mid 1970’s, and then retired to Lebanon where they were seen daily out and about for “lunch at 11.” Bonnie was a successful and dedicated office manager for Reith- Riley and Calumet Industries, continuing her lifelong history in road construction. Bonnie had multiple and varied interests: an avid tennis player and fan, a lover of gardening, shopping, walking, and dogs, and a master of the board game, Parcheesi. She was a staunch supporter of the Humane Society and had a beautiful sense of style. Her quick wit, ready laugh, and sense of loyalty won her many friends throughout her lifetime and the love and undying devotion of her family. Survivors include her husband, Dave Plough; daughter, Kandi (Garry) Horney; granddaughter, Jennifer (Larry) Danaher; bonus grandchildren, Tommy Stewart, Lisa Crew, and Brittney, Kalvin (Samantha), and Kameron (Raquel) Danaher; and her beloved “Labrador,” Scarlett. Her family requests no services, but memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Humane Society for Boone County, PO Box 708, Lebanon, IN 46052. Final care of Bonnie has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
