– Boone County Senior Services, Inc. will host their 10th Annual Art & Photography Contest to be held in celebration of Older Americans’ Month which is the month of May. This special activity will take place at the Lebanon Public Library. Individuals age 60 and over from Boone County are invited to submit their entries in the following categories: painting (amateur or advanced) and photography (natural or computer-enhanced) – open division. Even photos that are taken with a cell phone often work great when matted and framed. Amateur photographers welcome!! The artwork will be submitted on Wednesday, April 24 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Lebanon Public Library, 104 E. Washington Street, Lebanon. The artwork will be judged and hung on the 25 with results available at the opening of the exhibition that afternoon from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The exhibit will be open to the public from April 26 through May 30 and the pieces must be picked up on the 31 between 9:30 and 11 a.m. Each artist is entitled to enter one piece only.
