BCSSI 11th Annual Art & Photography Contest

Boone County Senior Services, Inc. will host their 11th Annual Art & Photography Contest to be held in celebration of Older Americans’ Month which is the month of May. This special activity will take place at the Lebanon Public Library. Individuals age 60 and over from Boone County are invited to submit their entries in the following categories: painting (amateur or advanced) and photography (natural or computer-enhanced) – open division. Even photos that are taken with a cell phone often work great when matted and framed. Amateur photographers welcome!!
The artwork will be submitted on Tuesday, April 22nd from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Lebanon Public Library, 104 E. Washington Street, Lebanon. The artwork will be judged and hung on the 23rd with results available at the opening of the exhibition that afternoon from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The exhibit will be open to the public from April 23rd through May 28th and the pieces must be picked up on the 29th between 12 to 1:30 p.m. Each artist is entitled to enter one piece only. No entry fee or pre-registration is required.
