Anna Lee Norman, 89, passed away early morning, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. She was born in LaFollette, Tennessee on October 10, 1934. She was the daughter of the late William Lester and Nellie (Price) Lester. Anna attended Jacksboro High School in Tennessee. On June 19, 1952, she was married in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Earl Howard “Charlie” Norman. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2006. She worked at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in the laundry department. She was a member of Kirklin Assembly of God Church in Kirklin, Indiana. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and she had a love for animals. Survivors include her four children, Sammy E. (Carol) Norman of Germfask, Michigan, Mitchell “Mick” (Vivian) Norman of Dover, Indiana, Ronald W. “Ronny” (Kathy) Norman of Lebanon, Indiana, and Gail (Robert “Bob”) Heikkila of Kirklin, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Sammy E. (Allison) Norman, Jr. of Lake Linden, Michigan, Maria Norman of Negaunee, Michigan, Lindsey M. Norman of Lebanon, Indiana, Michelle L. Stanbro of Lebanon, Indiana, Adam F. (Lainie) Norman of Great Falls, Montana, Aaron M. (Cheyenne) Norman of Lebanon, Indiana, and Karen L. Heikkila of Lebanon, Indiana; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister, Faye (Bobby) Wright of Caryville, Tennessee. In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by 11 siblings, Lloyd, Earl, Clara Mae, Bernice, Ronilda “Joe”, Leahnell, Bill, Don, James, Stanley, and Oralene. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery, 6851 South Indianapolis Road, in Whitestown, Indiana. Myers Mortuary has been entrusted with her burial arrangements. Memorials may be directed in her memory to Assembly of God Church, 519 S Main St, Kirklin, IN 46050.
