911 Call Leads To Arrest

On March 26, 2024, at approximately 5:56 P.M., Clinton County Central Dispatch received a 911 call of a vehicle traveling eastbound from 3000 W State Rd 28. Frankfort Police Department Officer Ethan Cunningham located the vehicle in the area of 1700 W State Rd 28. After observing traffic violations, a traffic stop was attempted. The vehicle failed to stop for emergency lights and siren. The vehicle would finally come to a stop at Hoke and Wabash.

The driver, 38-year-old Brittney Trine of Sharpsville, IN, was arrested after further investigation. The Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office charged Trine with the following:

Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle, a Level 6 Felony

Obstruction of Justice, a Level 6 Felony

Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Misdemeanor

Operating While Intoxicated While Endangering a Person, a Misdemeanor
