General Contest Rules

Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of winning. If a prize is not claimed within this timeframe, it may be repurposed for future giveaways or returned to the original provider.

Eligibility Requirements

Participants must be at least 18 years old and provide valid identification, such as a driver’s license or social security card, unless otherwise stated by Radio Mom. Employees of Radio Mom, Community Radio Partners, participating sponsors, and their immediate families are ineligible to participate. A “household” is defined as individuals living at the same address. Winners are responsible for ensuring they meet all eligibility criteria before participating.

Winning Limitations

• One person per household may win a prize valued at $599 or less once every 30 days through any contest format (on-air, on-site, online, or via text).

• After winning a prize from a specific radio station, individuals are ineligible to win again for 30 days.

• If a prize valued at $600 or more is won, the winner may not claim another prize from Radio Mom for one year.

• Radio Mom relies on participants to truthfully disclose their eligibility status.

Prize Definition

The term "prize" includes items such as CDs, T-shirts, movie passes, gift certificates, concert tickets, trip giveaways, and more, valued between $1 and $599. Winners are responsible for any state and local taxes on prizes over $599. A 1099 (W9) form will be sent to the winner for tax purposes.

Forfeiture and Substitution

Radio Mom and sponsors are not responsible for forfeited prizes due to ineligibility. If a prize is forfeited, it remains the property of Radio Mom, which may select an alternate winner or retain the prize. Prizes cannot be substituted or exchanged for cash. Radio Mom is not liable for failure by promotional partners to provide the prize. In case of unavailability, Radio Mom reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative.

Privacy and Data Usage

Personal information provided during contest entry will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and notifying winners. Radio Mom will not sell or share personal information with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.

Liability Release

By claiming a prize, winners release Radio Mom, Community Radio Partners, and their affiliates from all liabilities related to the contest or prize. Winners agree to indemnify Radio Mom against any claims related to the prize. Radio Mom is not responsible for any technical difficulties or mailing errors that prevent a winner from claiming their prize.

Publicity Consent

Participation and acceptance of a prize grants Radio Mom permission to use the winner’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Odds of Winning

Odds are based on the number of eligible entries received and the listenership during the contest. Radio Mom is not responsible for technical difficulties or failures to claim prizes due to such issues.

Rule Changes

Radio Mom reserves the right to modify these rules. Any changes will be communicated via the station's website or on-air announcements before they take effect.

Final Decisions

All decisions by Radio Mom are final. Any disputes will be settled by Radio Mom. Participants agree to be bound by these rules. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. Radio Mom reserves the right to change these rules at any time without notice.
