The IHSAA Boys Golf state finals were held Tuesday and Wednesday this week at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel. Westfield finished first followed by Center Grove and then Guerin Catholic in third place. Individually, Hudson Kutchma of Westfield was the individual medalist winning in a playoff against Eli Wessel of Guerin Catholic. Finishing in a tie for fifth place was Zionsville golfer Max Steiner.

With warmer weather arriving and summer officially underway, the parks in Lebanon are becoming increasingly busy. The City of Frankfort Board of Public Works and Safety convened today and voted to place Frankfort Police Officer Ethan Cunningham on administrative leave without pay, effective immediately. The Board’s decision follows a formal recommendation submitted by Frankfort Police Chief Scott Shoemaker. Wednesday at 4:34 am Lebanon fire crews were dispatched to 1418 Citation Circle West on a house fire. First arriving law enforcement officers advised it was a working fire and through the roof. Firefighters were met with heavy fire conditions throughout the attic space. All occupants made it safely out of the house. The fire was marked under control at 5:21 am. City of Lebanon Fire Department Fire Investigators were called to the scene for an origin and cause investigation. T
