Ruby Ari Guttridge, 2 years old, passed away on August 27, 2026, at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on January 22, 2024, in Austell, Georgia, a daughter of Rebekah Guttridge and Jimmy Meus Polynice. Ruby enjoyed going to the park, she loved the swings. Barbara Jan McKamey, 69, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born January 28, 1957 in York, Nebraska; a daughter of the late Eugene and Alberta (Pruse) Carty. In 1986, she married Thomas F. McKamey in Zionsville; he survives. Barbara worked as a cashier at Marsh for 15 years and later at Kroger for eight years. Barbara was a loving wife and will be deeply missed. Survivors include her husband, Tom McKamey of Lebanon

The Salvation Army of Boone County hosted another Battle of the Kettle at Western Boone Friday night. This year Lebanon and Western Boone fans donated nearly $1500. With Western Boone raising the most money taking back the kettle.
