Linda Payne, 63, of Lebanon, died Friday, September 11 at Signature Parkwood in Lebanon. She was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Nannie (Lamb) Woolery. Linda graduated from the Lebanon High School with the Class of 1982 and then married Gary B. Payne on September 25, 1982, a loving union that lasted 44 years. The Town of Kirklin have been awarded a $27,000 Planning Grant through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA). This funding will be used for a stormwater utility study to help identify existing problem areas and needs and develop a plan to guide future improvements.
